This book provides the roadmap needed to develop and implement an ongoing training program that produces results using in-house resources. The ideas apply equally to business, government, and non-profit organizations.

Every aspect of training is covered and the author details these ideas, and dozens more, including sample checklists, charts, surveys, comparisons, and questionnaires.

Topics include:

  • How to decide when training is needed

  • Training and the bottom line

  • Successful in-house training programs

  • Learner-centered learning

  • Understanding the need

  • Organizational requirements

  • Training and organizational change

  • Developing a training program

  • The training decision
